When?
Our courses start on the first weekend of every month except January where we start on the second weekend. But if you are really stuck into not being able to make those dates but want train with us, we will always try to make a plan. :))
Whats the difference?
So what is the difference between hang gliding, paragliding nd parakiting? In a nutshell, hang gliding is the most birdlike flying you can do. The weight shift control is simple and instinctive. The prone flying position gives you the most natural and bird- like experience available. It is the closest man has ever come to experiencing flight like the birds. Having said that, Paragliding and parakiting on the other hand beats hang gliding hands down from a ease and convenience point of view - that is why paragliding and parakiting is so popular. Its a wing in a bag that you can throw into the boot of your car and travel just about everywhere. Parakiting offers extra pitch control (being able to raise the nose or lower the nose) so these wings allow you to dive for longer and have a bigger climb option than normal paragliding. So you swoop, dive and climb with more controle than normal paragliding. However, normal paragliding still offers the better glide and sinkrate advantage - if you are a pro! (Only the very top end normal paragliders perform better than the parakites). ;) At the end of the day it is not a matter of which is best - they are different and are used for different kinds of flying. the one is more to thermals and gain hieght like the birds do while the other is more to swoop up and down low over the dunes.
Unique!
Wild2Fly is th only school that offers you the experience of all three!
